HIDDEN PIEACE

A young man dances, in absurd pink light, as he passionately kisses his own reflection in a mirror. The juxtaposition of his intense, self-obsessed movements with the playful irony of Julius Fucík's Entrance of the Gladiators creates an absurd tension between intimacy and performance. This surreal display of self-love verges on discomfort, as obsessive desire and narcissism unravel into a distorted, unsettling performance. The boundaries of identity blur, until the performer, through a small mirror, locks eyes with the camera—confronting the viewer with the absurdity of self-obsession on display.
